We dont have any in our state, but I ordered 6x of the 39 drawer Stack-on organizers because they were 40% cheaper than Amazon even with shipping, didnt want my credit card number on file with a store im probably not going to do business with again, so i checked out with Paypal. And it looks like i was right not to leave my CC with them because their online ordering is a complete *** show.

I didnt expect them to be Amazon, but i ordered on 10/11, after my order status sat in "processing" for a week, i called customer service on 10/18. Apparently my order had been flagged for fraud and no one had bothered to contact me! So the nice woman on the phone said she would push my order through. I received an email followup that she had, and my order status changed to shipped, but i never received the promised tracking number.

Well this morning 10/23, huge box from fedex on my porch, tear it open... and its air fill and ONE! (1) of the SIX (6) drawers i ordered. Attempt to call the nice woman back directly from her phone extension in her email signature, no luck. Call customer service. Get the same woman i wasnt able to get directly, friendly and helpful again, but said she would have to elevate it and someone from another department would be contacting me.

So at this point ive paid ~$150 for one 39 drawer stackon organizer instead of the $35 apiece they were on Amazon... I was the entire online shipping department for a single independent store over 15 years ago and we shipped all orders made by noon the same day by 6. That a store with dozens of locations in multiple states, with warehouses and distribution chains cant complete a simple online order in 2018... This two week long headache was not worth the $40 i was going to save, and has completely soured me on ever visiting a brick and mortar Rural King either.

I have been a customer of this store for many years. The last couple years you no longer carry hardly anything in stock none of your staff knows anything about anything I tried to get some salt today they looked at me like I was from Mars it would be a great place for a farm store somebody needs to get ahold of what's Happening Here in Champaign my friends are leaving for Farm & Fleet and so am I I'm sitting in their parking lot now getting what you guys don't have again

Private information stolen

During a return of ill-fitting, mis-sized work jeans , despite presenting the receipt and credit card from the day before purchase and the items still in same condition as when purchased with all tags in place and none worn, the customer service rep asked for my driver's license telling me it was only to confirm proof of identity, but then scanned the entire information of my driver's license into their computer system via the bar code. A total theft of otherwise secure personal information. Just prior to her scanning the license I protested and asked for my license back and not to scan it. She did anyway, ignoring me. Do not trust shopping at Rural King.

The Worse Customer Service Ever

Contacted Rural King in July to set up an account for my gunshop and forwarded them our FFL and Resale Tax #. They sent email that said everything was setup and ready. Included their phone #, and my tax ID#, and said ready to take orders. Called Sat, Aug 10th to place order. Gave salesman the number I was given, said he looked and was not in system, then hung up on me. Called back and got different person who said she found me, took order and then said her system wouldn't allow to take credit card. Took my number and said they would call back when they got it fixed. Never called. 26 minutes on hold for nothing. Called Monday, Aug 13. This sales person said there was nothing in computer about my account. So, he set one up , took order, and credit card info. Got email confirmation of order that day. I called Monday, August 20 to get update on order since I have not heard anything. This guy tells me it will be the middle of Sept before I get order. 10 days processing, then ordering from the company, more time to process and ship. I asked why wasn't I told this when I ordered. He stated it was in my email confirmation. When I looked at confirmation after hanging up, of course there was nothing about this. I have to believe I was lied to. At this point, I don't really care if they ship it or not. To much hassle for a commodity item. Plus the last guy, refers to his customer as Bub, when he can plainly see your name on the computer screen. Will never attempt to order from them again.

Fired for what they say signing off the bathroom sheet when

My responsibility was a loader we do everthing i have been called on the radio to pick up trash the manger walked rate by it and the trash can was 3 step away the bathroom get clean then 5 min later trashed ive clean *** off the walls there is *** stains on the toilet that ive scubed for 20 min and will not come off mangers are a joke if you wont kiss there behinds and tell them exaclty what you think i hold no animosity towards the company just the current management team at zephyrhills rual king very unprofessional management is sleeping with each other as well no wonder the turn over rate is so high expectations vs reality an people don't relize there always understaffed they try and squeeze every bit out of one and get upset when task are not completed because loaders get bathrooms karts assisting customers which loved the cashier and anything managers said however they want all of this done with only one person and when the store is busy and get ticked very wonder company and great place to shop just not to work fix managsment also stop being so cheap way below average wages have certain people loader should have 2 running at all times not one the expectations vs the reality is just that

Know one answerd tho i called 8 times, i worked 22 hours in 2 weeks that i have not been paid for $8 an hour multiply those and you get $176 before taxes I was told my paycheck will only be $12 and some odd sense.... Not right at all!

(New Castle indana)Mowed with it a total of two and1/2 times.first time worked great went to start second time battery was dead had to jump it.when I backed out of the shed the reverse made a loud noise,got halfway through the mowing mower it started making noise again from rear of mower.last time I mowed with it got halfway through the mowing went to turn steering wheel just spun freely (no steering)took it back two and a half week old mower.told them I wanted my money back,they said they have to have their mechanic check it out b4 issuing a refund said they call next day,5 days later no return phone call..I went back to store true to get a manager with no success,lady at service desk took number again said manager would call next day asap,3 days later no call.i went back to the store got a manager this time he took receipt and said he be back in a minute. 20min later he returns tells me they ordered a part,I told him I came for a refund which they promised not a repair,he told me they don't give refunds on gas items.ask me if I had the mower with the nose in the motor.i told him no and explained for I know at least 4th time the problem.i told him if it broke down that many time in such a short amount of time I can only imagine what the condition would be by the end of the year. Told him that if they did not refund my money I was going to file a small claims case against them he did not seem concerned in the least bit did not even ask my name id bet they dont have my name or number still.they have my mower now and I don't even think they know who I am still very bad service the more should at the very least be replaced it obviously is a defective product worst manager customer service I have ever encountered.its a real joke.

My husband spend a lot of money in the Muncie Indiana store and we have had the worse customer service ever most of the time it ends up dealing with a manager and she is twice as bad. These people act like they hate job they should be thankful they have a job!!!!!

Purchased a bait mouse trap. First one no key cannot open without key. Second one no bait. Packaging said nothing about buying bait separate...no one at service desk said "this does not come with bait".

Almost a year ago, bought a very expensive tool chest cart (over $500.00). After it was loaded on my trailer, by a store employee, i discovered the bottom drawer was damaged. Manager notified, pictures taken, i was offered $50 gift certificate which i declined. I wanted the bottom drawer replaced. I have called manager numerous times, been to the store numerous times , and even called the company myself. STILL, not replaced. This is beyond rediculous!!! This needs to be replaced. I spend alot of $ at Rural King and i'm in disbelief that the owner allows this.

Order Held Without Notifying Customer--2 weeks lost time

I needed an herbicide for a time sensitive use. I ordered online, no problem.

I received the email confirmation. I checked their estimated delivery times (only business days apply) and I waited like a good patient customer..... that time lapsed. I emailed them for shipping status.

I received a reply that there was an issue with the "order" not the shipping and to call them. They never processed the order. They claim it was held for fraud prevention, if there had been fraud and they did not contact the account holder in that length of time they are still wrong. He said I would have to be referred to their fraud prevention desk, I asked "can this be resolved today." "Unfortunately not" so I cancelled the order.

Very dissatisfied with the lack of service, notice, and concern. Rural King is a corporate machine where no one seems to care...at all. This could have been avoided through email notices and proactive phone contact. I wish I had checked online for reviews before attempting business with them.

Avoid at all costs, literally. You pay in the end with lost time and frustration.
