Buyer beware online return policy

Tire wrong size per description. Had to contact support 2x times for refund. Could you explain why my refund was only $69.11 ? Item was $89.41and return shipping was $58.74. Up to 20% restocking fee would have been $71.53, so still short. So Ive lost $79.04 total by doing business with Rural King and tire was wrong size.

Poor service after buying 3 0- turn mowers

Bought 3 new 0-turn Bad Boy mowers all at same time, they said I was getting a great deal on buying 3 ! Two had broken throttle cables and after 3 weeks of waiting on replacement cables so we could mow with them they didnt have them. I went to Pitts on Conneaut Lake rd and told them about it and they being a Bad Boy dealership they gave them to me with no problem. Next time I will just go to dealership that stands behind their products and have replacement parts with out a problem and I could have got them from Pitts for same cost for mowers.

I bought 3 new Bad Boy O- turn mowers all at the same time

They let on like I was getting a great deal for buying 3 two had broken throttle cables and after 3 weeks of waiting on them to replace them they didnt replace them so I went to Pitts on 322 Conneaut Lake and with no problem they gave them to me ! I wish I would have just bought them from a dealership like Pitts that have replacement parts and help the customer get it fixed. And if I bought them at Pitts they would have cost me the same ( my mistake)

Hung up on when I wanted to cancel order

I had a large online order (over $1000) that was supposed to be tax exempt and I was charged tax. I wanted to cancel and reorder before renting a truck to pick up these goods. The store manager where the order was being processed hung up on me. I tried to call back and was put on hold. I may have to do a chargeback on my credit card.

Tax exempt

I as of last year had a tax exempt form and used at rural king. Due to the stores new computers I was no longer exempt. Ive tried several times to reinstall but it wont let me. What the *** is wrong. I own the same farm with even more land

All the managers are rude and really don't care about customers all they try to do is push some kind of rip off credit card

My tax exempt information has been deleted from their new system

I have a farm. Shortly after the St. Clairsville, Ohio store opened I was given a customer number to receive my tax exemptions. I have shopped at multiple Rural King location with no problem until 8/14/2021. At that time, my number came up with another persons name. I could not be found in their system by my number of many years, my phone number, or my name. Why was my number of many years given to another customer and why can they not find me in their system?

Purchased a RK 21H tractor at RK and have nothing but problems with it. Mower blades failed first had to borrow trailer to take it back because they have no delivery service unless you pay $$. Leveling arm came apart and I lost it had to buy one out of pocket $75 two more pins lost on mower lift frame no answer yet if its covered on warranty. Holes wallerd out on mower where it connects to lift frame. They overfilled oil when I took it in for 50hr. Service now back of tractor covered in oil cause it leaks out fill

Wouldn’t exchange jeans

I bought 3 pair of jeans couple weeks ago for work. I have at least 8 pair I have bought from here. These was same size as my other jeans but was at least an inch wider. So I went to return them and was told had to be same size. I wanted pants that would fit. I went down a size and was told they wont exchange them unless same size. Grant it they was only $9 but I shop there a lot but I am going to take my business somewhere else.

Always dirty and disorganized

Once again the Peru store is so dirty and disgusting and disorganized I will not shop there again! I had to go and i did not want to drive to Princeton to go to Tractor Supply. WOW, was I, sorry! You cannot get anyone to help you- unless you are in the guns and ammo dept. Nothing is where it is supposed to be in the livestock dept. And FILTHY! Drive PAST Rural King, go to Farm and Fleet or Tractor Supply or order online from Amazon. Bad service, filthy store, nothing where it is supposed to be again the Peru store is so dirty and disgusting and disorganized I will not shop there again!

Poor customer service/return

We purchased a hay ring on 10/3/20 for our cattle and 2 welds broke on it making it defective and it broke in several places. We took the hay ring to the store we purchased #123 in Bristol Virginia to make an exchange. The manager Big Jon was more interested in showing off for the girls working than helping us. He refused to even come to look at the broken welds and told us it was our problem not his. That once we left the store with it, they wouldnt back it and compared it to buying a pair of jeans and ripping them then trying to return. We asked for the number to corporate and he told us to look it up online that he didnt have to give it to us. I looked up the return policy and this should have been an easy exchange due to the manufacturer defect. While we were shopping he walked through the store and accidentally brushed against my husband with a dirty look. We are appalled at his behavior and very disappointed with his lack of customer service and downright rude attitude, and knowing that yall wont back the products sold, nor did he follow your corporate policy.

Pretty sad - the manager was basically telling you that they sold you scrap metal and didn't care. If their management stays that bad, TSC will put them out of business as soon as the "new rural king" effect wears off. They should also enforce a mask policy on their own employees - it aggravates me when customers are stupid enough to walk around without masks but we were in there yesterday and they have employees walking around with masks dangling on their necks.

I bought this tractor based on pledge of mobile service as there is no service center. I've been unable to use the loader for 4 weeks due to no mechanic available and now waiting on a part from S Korea. I've been through a ridiculous chain of events and there is no one willing to do anything about it. When you buy from them, expect to deal with the store you purchased from only, complaints don't go any further upstream - they are cycled back to the store.

Same situation here. Need several parts for my tractor and keep breaking more with no parts available.

This is terrible.

I can not mow or use any pro equipment. Ridiculous!!!!

I would like a replay to this issue ASAP . Its almost 5 yrs later, as a Child of Vietnam Vet UIUC scholarship winner, I began in UIUC Business, and graduated from Business AFTER sustaining a rather severe TBI! In total honesty, the 'major problem' at RK is the owner's belief that since they 'purchased' a small liberal Arts Business BA for their son, he was able to be their CEO? NO NO NO, a BA qualifies any recipient to be an 'owner,' NOT an 'operator/CEO' like a BS degree does! Yes, its just a 2 letter difference, but there is such a LARGE DIFFERENCE between a Bachelor of Science/Substance and Bachelor of Arts/Appearance degrees! My UIUC BS needed more than HS Calculus, but a BA required just a diploma/GED, so I 'understand' RK's 2 stock losses in

There tractors are crap and the finish mowers are the same

you can not get blades for the finish mower bearings went out on the spindle left hand cut which is stupid were not told the tractor ac stops working ever thirty minutes you have to clean the screen in front of the condenser the tractor will not stay still while running in neutral no power uses fuel worse than the john deere no service help nothing but excuses DO NOT BUY THE TRACTOR OR THE MOWERS I THOUGHT THEY AN AMERICAN COMPANY THEY DO NOT CARE THE TRACTOR AND MOWER ONLY SIX MONTHS OLD

Good to know, but I have been using John Deere tractors and mowers, etc. for decades with few problems, all of which were fixed by my local JD dealer who will treat you well if you buy the machines from him rather than from a big box store. To each his own, tho.
