Champaign, IL. I tried to special order an Anderson lower receiver from the store. It arrived on time, but I've had to return every 3 days multiple times to keep resubmitting my information for a state background check, because the workers keep improperly filling out the paperwork. I can't justify any price for a product that I can't receive due to their incompetence.

The boots were $139.99 in store, $159.99 online plus tax and $20 shipping total online $190.00. I'd like a monetary break for all my trouble. This has been going on over a week of my time and phone calls.

Went to the spring hill location. Was very impressed the location was very organized and customer service was spot on... I live in inverness will go back to spring hill. Crystal river location very unorganized as well the employees have no desire in helping customer. Feel like im wasting there time. They need clean out whole store and start over. Lazy workers. I ordered 3 guns on thanksgiving got delayed and with them even admitting it was their fault after 30 days of waiting I finally got them. I had been in the store several times a week to check on the status and the workers half the time wouldn't even look at the computer. Finally when I was able to re register at the 30 days I was approved and that was the last 2g I'll ever spend at that store. They really need to work on better management. I retired from the Navy with 20 years and a Top Secret clearance; worked 11+ years now for the federal government and have to have regular background checks; and I'm a bonded elected official. As a former Gun Barn employee I believe the employee was following proper procedure. We had a young lady try to buy a weapon using her CCW as her "identification".

The clerk politely stated Rural King does not recognize a CCW as "identification". When her 4473 was processed through the government site, she was DENIED.

As for the OP stating he had purchased a weapon five months earlier, he could have become ineligible to own a weapon four months and three weeks ago.

Rural King in Crystal River, Florida - Customer service not good!

I had my rebate slip with me and the associate forgot to scan it. I asked if she could void the transaction. No she couldn't but I could take it to the service desk and they would take care of it. She couldn't do it either. she did try but could not get the register to do it. She said it was a computer problem. Why didn't she call a manager to override the transaction? So I still have my rebate and no I didn't buy everything I wanted because at noon they were sold out already! The customer service at this store has gotten worse and I am beginning to wonder if it's worth my while to shop here.
