I ordered an item for my grandson's on 12/04/17. On 12/08/17 I called the 800 number and actually got in touch with a person to inquiry about my order (the money was removed from my account on the 4th).

She said the item was in stock but she wanted to verify. She sent an email that day saying the item was available and it would ship from a regional warehouse. On 12/12/17 I emailed her back to inquiry, she sent an email to the department asking about my order. Waited a couple days, no response....I tried calling and the one time I actually got thru, I was caller 49 with a 75 minute wait....I hung up!

On 12/18/17, I emailed again asking about the order....no response. I called the 800 number at 8:06 am and got a busy signal.....on 12/21 I was able to get thru and I left a message...later that day I received an email back with an apology and promise to email the department supervisor....no response after that from RK. Finally on Sat 12/23/17, I called and was caller # 7 with a 70 minute wait.....I did not hang up.....after 62 minutes someone came on the line and checked and said the person the email went to had been let go!!! Are you kidding me!!

I told them to cancel the order and just refund my money. So much for the Christmas present for the grandsons!! I can't see every ordering anything from Rural King in the future.

I know it is Christmas but I ordered on 12/04! Sorry....no excuse for lack of response and follow up.

Follow up to my review from 12/23/17. I did receive a refund which was good.

I received an "standard" email from Rural King asking me to review my transaction.

I wrote a condensed version of what I originally wrote and received an email back stating

that I did not comply with their criteria! I just listed the facts and they won't post it.

Never again, Rural King!
